Shankland wins the 3rd Annual Masters Tournament
Prague International Chess Festival 2021 concluded yesterday, the historically third winner of the Masters tournament is the American grandmaster Sam Shankland. In the other round-robin - Futures tournament the first place goes to Jakub Vojta and the narrowest possible victory (number of black pieces being the last tiebreak) in Open goes to the Polish GM Marcin Krzyzanowski.

This year was the first when the Award of Grandmaster Luboš Kaválek for the best game of the festival was awarded - to the victorious Sam Shankland for his second round win over GM Jan-Krzysztof Duda.
