Chess Superstar GothamChess Heads to Prague
Prague’s Grand Hotel International will host a special chess event on May 13, 2025. World-renowned chess streamer Levy Rozman, known as GothamChess, is coming to the Czech capital. As part of his European tour, he will offer fans a unique evening full of chess entertainment, education, and a modern approach to the royal game.
Levy, who has over six million followers on YouTube, has won the hearts of fans worldwide with his charisma, humor, and unconventional teaching style. The Prague stop of his tour was made possible in collaboration with the Prague International Chess Festival, which officially supports the event.
During the evening, the audience can look forward to a live version of the popular game Guess the Elo, where GothamChess and the crowd estimate players' ratings based on their games. This will be followed by a talk show with special guests and an extended Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions. VIP ticket holders will also enjoy a personal meet-and-greet, autograph session, photo opportunities, and— for a few lucky ones — a chance to play a chess game with Levy Rozman.
Two familiar faces will join GothamChess on stage. The first guest is Harikrishna Pentala, an Indian chess grandmaster living in the Czech Republic who has long been among the elite of world chess. In the second part of the program, Rozman will be joined by Marek Adamczyk, a popular actor and passionate amateur chess player. He will replace Olympian Ondřej Perušič, who had to cancel his appearance due to family reasons.
This event, offering not only fun for chess enthusiasts of all levels but also a unique chance to meet one of the most prominent ambassadors of modern chess, will begin at 8:00 PM (6:00 PM for VIP ticket holders).
