Prague Embraced By Chess for the 7th time, PICF Brings Exciting News
The 6th edition of the Prague International Chess Festival, held in late February and early March, welcomed some of the top players in the chess world. Among them was Dommaraju Gukesh, who is going to fight for the world chess champion title this year. However, it was Nodirbek Abdusattorov who triumphed in the Masters tournament. In the Challengers tournament, Turkish prodigy Ediz Gurel claimed victory and will step up to compete in the Masters next year. The festival’s VIP guest was legendary chess player Viswanathan Anand, who drew a massive crowd to his autograph session. In short, the sixth edition was filled with many remarkable moments.
