Don Giovanni Hotel Prague

Don Giovanni Hotel Prague is a 4-star hotel located in Prague's popular residential area of Vinohrady in close proximity to the city centre. It is a modern city hotel built in 1995 and it is named after Mozart's opera Don Giovanni. The Hotel provides 412 spacious, air conditioned guest rooms, the majority of them offer exceptional views of Prague. Don Giovanni has 5 restaurants and bars. The Hotel also has one of the biggest conference capacities in Prague.

PICF VISITOR CENTRE AND CHESS SHOP

• Entrance to the playing rooms is FREE throughout the entire Festival
• TOP players compete in the main hall, ongoing games can be followed on a LED wall
(We kindly ask the visitors to respect and follow the instructions of the arbiters in the playing halls.)
• Two commentary rooms will be available, offering live commentary in Czech and English
• Games can also be comfortably watched on screens at the Amadeus hotel bar (ground floor)
• The hotel lobby hosts a daily solving competition with prizes

PICF Visitor Centre (1st floor, 13:30–20:00)
• all information about the Festival schedule, pairings, and results
• Festival T-shirts and other merchandise available for purchase
• QR code to obtain the PICF FAN card

The Chess Shop (1st floor, 13:30–20:00)

How to get to us

Don Giovanni Hotel Prague is located at the intersection of Vinohradská – Jana Želivského, right next to the public transport stop „Želivského“.
• Subway: line A – Želivského station. The hotel is a 2–3 minute walk from the station exit.
• Tram: lines 7, 10, 11, 16, 26 – Želivského stop.
• Bus: city and suburban lines: 124, 139, 150, 155, 188, 213, 146, 199 –Želivského stop.
