Children's day was a great, open tournaments started
On Thursday, players in the Masters and Challengers tournaments were joined by players in the Open tournaments. The Karel Janecek Open has 336 players on the starting list, and another 40 players compete in closed-rating tournaments.

Among the Challengers, the youngest player Vaclav Finek had a very successful start to the tournament. His first-round win was also awarded with the prize for the best game of the opening day.
