K CERO INVEST Real estate & Financial rapid tournament - Schedule & Rules
The idea of hosting a chess day for fans from the finance and real estate sectors came to us in the summer of 2023, when we visited the K CERO owner Roman Cerulík in Bánská Štiavnica, Slovakia. Thanks to our dedication and thorough preparation, we successfully organized the inaugural Finance & Real Estate Rapid Tournament on March 1, 2024. The four-star Hotel Don Giovanni in Prague welcomed more than twenty participants, eager to fight in seven rounds and channel their professional expertise from the dynamic financial and real estate markets onto the chessboard. After intense rounds of competition, the tournament’s first individual winner was Slovak player who currently lives in Prague, Martin Ondruš from VIG Re Reinsurance Services. In the team category, the top spot went to Komerční banka a.s.
We are delighted to invite you once again to join us on the first Saturday of March 2025 at the Hotel Don Giovanni in Prague. Gather your company’s best players to compete for top spots in both the individual and team competitions.
This year, we have prepared an exciting seven-round rapid tournament, prestigious awards, an exclusive invitation from the Festival Director Petr Boleslav and the K CERO owner to the VIP zone reception with Masters and Challengers players, and a lecture by Dana Reizniece, Managing Director of FIDE and former Latvian Minister of Finance, titled “Chess and Finance.” Additionally, you can look forward to many other engaging events throughout the day.
